I had a fantastic time recharging my batteries - (reading and writing batteries, as well as self). Lots of inspiration from a group of great people.

“I’ve loved meeting so many new people and getting to know each other really well over the last few days, all while sharing the same love of books. The days can be really jam-packed (in the best way!) and I honestly don’t want to miss a thing. I’ve even been getting up early just to make the most of it.

That said, the afternoons are such a perfect balance because after the best lunches, we always have time to do our own thing, beach time, reading, having a nap, or just properly switching off.

I also really love the cultural element that Ros and the team have included. It’s been amazing seeing parts of Naxos that you probably wouldn’t normally get to experience. I would recommend this kind of retreat to anyone who’s excited about books and even though not everything is about books, that shared love of reading is definitely the thread that’s brought us all together, and it feels really special.”

“I’d never been on a retreat before, but I wanted to come with my daughter, and I’m so glad we did. Getting to know so many different people has made me really happy everyone is so lovely and welcoming. It’s honestly not what I expected in the best way.

All the different activities, and hearing everyone’s stories, has been so special. It genuinely feels like we’ve become one big family. It’s been wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for friendship outside of their own town, and wants to experience something different and see what another country has to offer. It’s just been the best.”

“I’ve always wanted to meet other people who love books, and this retreat has been exactly that so many beautiful, wonderful women. I was a bit nervous at first, but I was immediately made to feel at home by Nola, Ros and Neil.

It’s perfect for anyone who loves books and also wants a bit of culture (and Greece!). Being in such an amazing environment where all the Greek myths happened and being so close to the sea has just made it even more special.”

“I’d recommend this retreat to anyone who loves to read, sit by the beach, hasn’t been to Greece before, and wants to make some really good friends. Even if you’re not the biggest reader, it’s perfect if you just want recommendations and to be around people who love books.

I came with my mum and she has absolutely loved it too. I really wanted a proper break, to relax, and also to meet Jennifer Saint which has been such a highlight!

We went up into the mountains yesterday and saw the Kouros, then went for a walk, and honestly some of the conversations we had were the best. The balance has been amazing you can completely switch off by the pool or beach and decompress, but you also get these really special cultural experiences as well.“

“Ros is a true professional! She identifies areas that need to be improved and provides concrete exercises and tips to address them. You will see the benefits of working with her even with just one session but you will be inspired to work with her on longer term as she is really worth it. She helped me to understand the importance of the breathing techniques and so much more. I love working with Ros not only for her professional excellence but also her genuine motivation in helping people to unleash their full potential.”

Ros was encouraging from day one and helped me overcome my concerns so I could really enjoy the experience of acting. Ros and Neil are a formidable team as not only do they bring many years of combined experience but they also use this experience to give the actors complete freedom to explore and give their own interpretation to the characters. I found them both to be so warm and welcoming.

It was a really lovely week of exploration, reading, and interesting conversation. Thank you for taking such good care of us! I'll always feel at home on Naxos now, thanks to the warm atmosphere created by the Naxos Creative team.
