Her debut novel, Ariadne, reimagines the legend of Theseus and the Minotaur through the eyes of Ariadne and was shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year in 2021 . She followed this success with Elektra, Atalanta, and Hera, all of which became Sunday Times bestsellers, with Elektra and Atalanta reaching the number one spot .
Saint's passion lies in illuminating the female experience within ancient myths, bringing depth and nuance to characters traditionally overshadowed by their male counterparts . She lives in Yorkshire with her husband and two children and serves as the President of the Leeds & District Branch of the Classical Association.
Rosie Hewlett is a British author celebrated for her feminist retellings of Greek mythology, focusing on amplifying the voices of women often sidelined in classical narratives.
